Mr. Williams joined Martin & Company in August, 1999 as an Investment Intern while completing his studies at the University of Tennessee. Upon graduation, in June, 2000, he joined the firm full-time as an Equity Analyst. In April 2025, he was named as the firm’s President and CEO. His focus is on equity research and portfolio management for Martin & Company’s equity strategies. He is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and has over 25 years of investment experience

Mr. Stewart joined Martin & Company in 1994. He works with equity and balanced client portfolios. His responsibilities also include portfolio management and research for Martin & Company’s equity strategies.

Clayton C. Williams, CFA®
Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager
Mr. Williams joined Martin & Company in June 2022. His responsibilities include Portfolio Management and research for the company’s Fixed Income and Equity strategies. Prior to joining Martin & Company, Mr. Williams was Director of Investments for the Harbert Value Fund, a long / short hedge fund in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mr. Holt joined Martin & Company in March, 2002 as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager. Mr. Holt served as the firm’s President from 2015 to 2025. Mr. Holt responsibilities include fixed income strategy, analysis, and portfolio management, focusing on fixed income accounts.

Benjamin C. Davis
Assistant Portfolio Manager
Mr. Davis joined Martin & Company in June 2025 as an Assistant Portfolio Manager. His responsibilities include research and analysis for the firm’s equity and fixed income strategies.
Prior to joining Martin & Company, Mr. Davis was a private investor, founding a residential real estate investment business and co-founding an elite athletic performance training company. Earlier in his career he worked in management consulting with a focus on business valuation.
A native of Harriman, Tennessee, Mr. Davis is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in finance and a dual concentration in international business. He graduated summa cum laude and was a Chancellor’s Honors student.
